Arts Appreciation Evening Class with Síle Daly (oboe) in New Ross Library

Arts Appreciation Evening Class with Síle Daly (oboe) in New Ross Library In-Person

As part of the National Opera House Education and Community Programme we are pleased to announce a series of Evening Classes in Arts Appreciation, taking place in libraries throughout County Wexford in April and May 2022. New Ross Library in conjunction with the National Opera House and Wexford Local Development, is delighted to welcome Síle Daly (oboe). Síle will talk about her background, training and life as a professional musician - her influences that include not only music but other artforms too and of course, how she is now coming back into live performance since the relaxation of Covid restrictions.  A live performance demonstration of the oboe will also be part of the talk, together with an opportunity for questions at the end of the evening. This informal event is suitable for anyone aged 18 upwards - no prior knowledge of music necessary!

Booking is essential as places are limited. Register online or phone: 051 421877.
