Soils are the basis for life on earth

In a presentation for Science Week 2022, Irish Farmers Journal tillage editor, Andy Doyle, will speak about the nature of soils in terms of how they function to support so much life on earth. He will talk about the basic functions of soil and the three pillars that act to help make a healthy soil. He will describe how a healthy soil supports biodiversity and show the potential consequences for unhealthy soils in different parts of the world.
