Join local historian Greg Walsh in Wexford library for his talk "An on-going investigation as to the origin of some well-known Norman surnames".
Heretofore, investigations of these names often stopped at Rosslare, but their origin lies well beyond these shores. Some are well understood, such as Devereux and Stafford, but others have a mystery about them. This is a work in progress to lift the mist surrounding some of these names using such sources as the Domesday Book and French archival records.'
