North Wexford Historical Society Monthly Talk In-Person
"The Forgotten Voices of the Workhouse Women" presented by Treasa Wemyss is the March talk from the North Wexford Historical Society. This fascinating talk will cover subjects of the Workhouse and Poverty, the History of Thomastown Workhouse in Co Kilkenny, Forgotten Female Voices, and the Plight of Abandoned Women and Single Mothers.
All are welcome to join us in Gorey Library for a series of talks hosted by the North Wexford Historical society.
These talks will be held on the last Thursday of each month, and will feature a different speaker and topic each month.
