Foraging and Food for Wellbeing with Gráinne Kenneally Quirke from Elderberry Farm. In-Person
Join us as we welcome Gráinne Kennaelly Quirke from Elderberry Farm for a talk on 'Foraging and Food for Wellbeing'.
Gráinne will discuss the immense benefits, both physical and mental, of foraging and producing your own food from ingredients that are growing wild within a stones throw of your own front door.
She will describe how sustainably you can produce your own food and drinks with what Mother Nature provides. Just raw ingredients, no fertilisers, no sprays, no pesticides. Just wild food growing naturally and all yours for free!
Gráinne will also demonstrate how easy it is to provide yourself with delicious, nutritious foods and tonics to help ward off colds and flu as well as ease the symptoms of many everyday ailments that most of us suffer with at some stage during our lives.
Elderberry Farm produces artisan cordials, syrups, jams, jellies, chutneys, granola, pesto’s, hummus, tapenades and other seasonal produce. Much of our raw ingredients are foraged, such as elderberry, elderflower, dandelion, crab apples, rose-hips, blackberries, sloes, haw berries.
When we’re not using foraged produce, we do our best to use locally grown fruit such as pears, damsons, apples, rhubarb, beetroot and support local suppliers whenever we can. We strive to use fully recyclable packaging and offer a discount on all products when customers return their glass bottles.
