Our Cruinniú na nÓg celebrations continue with this singing workshop with Wexford based singer and composer Laura Hyland. Through listening and singing together we develop a deeper awareness of our surroundings, our ecology, ourselves and our community. We’ll use games, chats, listening exercises and sound experiments to create our own music or ‘soundscape’, with our voices, our bodies, our imagination, and our sensitivity to each other.

 

Suitable for 4-6 years.

 

Cruinniú na nÓg

Cruinniú na nÓg 2025 is a day of free creativity for young people, and this year it will take place on June 7th. This all-island creative celebration will offer more than 1,000 free events and activities for children and young people in every city, town, and village across the island of Ireland.

Ireland is the first and only country in the world to dedicate an annual national day to celebrate the creative potential its young people. Cruinniú na nÓg is a flagship initiative of the Creative Ireland Programme’s Creative Youth Plan, aimed at enabling and encouraging self-expression and artistic exploration.
