Stamp Camp: ReLeaf Printmaking with Friends! Exploring the Fun of Printmaking with Natural Materials.

We close out our Cruinniú na nÓg celebrations at New Ross Library with a print making workshop with artist Elizabeth Flynn.

This workshop will provide a space for young people, ages 8 and up, to explore the fun of printmaking with natural materials. Participants will use brayers and paint brushes to coat ink onto leaves, flowers, and food scraps. Arranging and pressing the leaves onto cotton bags in a design of their choosing, participants will go home with their own unique bag to keep or gift to a loved one. 

 

Suitable for 8-12 years.

 

Cruinniú na nÓg

Cruinniú na nÓg 2025 is a day of free creativity for young people, and this year it will take place on June 7th. This all-island creative celebration will offer more than 1,000 free events and activities for children and young people in every city, town, and village across the island of Ireland.

Ireland is the first and only country in the world to dedicate an annual national day to celebrate the creative potential its young people. Cruinniú na nÓg is a flagship initiative of the Creative Ireland Programme’s Creative Youth Plan, aimed at enabling and encouraging self-expression and artistic exploration.
