Éist! Listen! - Irish-language Audio Installation and Workshops

Éist! Listen! - Irish-language Audio Installation and Workshops In-Person

Join our listening party workshop. This workshop will explore how we tell stories using sound.

Éist! Listen! is a bilingual project about story-telling using Irish language and sound. The project features an audio installation for children with an Irish-language workshop given in each library.

New Ross Library is delighted that library visitors can experience Irish and Irish/English audio stories written and performed by artists in Ireland.

We invite young people to contribute to a brand-new Irish-language story inspired by their favourite Irish words. This story will be written by local writer Alison Ní Mháirtín. Professionally recorded and produced, and released at the end of the summer and shared with young people in Wexford via radio and this workshop.

Delivered across five libraries in Wexford in summer 2025.
