Sewing Skills and Clothing Repair with Fashion Connect Ireland: a sustainable living workshop In-Person
It's sew time!
New Ross Library and Fashion Connect Ireland are excited to announce a series of Sustainable Living Workshops taking place throughout September.
In these 1 hour practical workshops, participants will learn basic clothes repairs skills such sewing a button and repairing a hole in a garment. We will share plenty of tips on how to care for our clothes and how to make them last longer.
Sew, join us as we explore practical ways to live more sustainably and contribute to a greener future. All materials provided and we will also have sewing machines available to work on.
These workshops are part of the library SDG Week celebrations and our Skills for Life national campaign, highlighting the vital importance of sustainability in our everyday lives.
Tuesdays, September 16th, 23rd & 30th, 5pm - 6pm
