Beginners Conversational Irish Group at Wexford Library In-Person
Have you always wanted to learn a bit of Irish but weren’t sure where to start?
Wexford Library is delighted to offer Beginners Conversational Irish, a welcoming and relaxed session designed especially for those with little or no Irish.
Come along and learn the cúpla focal - just a few words that can open the door to a beautiful language and culture.
We will cover the very basics like:
The Days of the week - Lá na Seachtaine
Numbers – haon, dó, trí
Everyday greetings including:
Dia duit - Hello
Slán - Goodbye
Conas atá tú? - How are you?
And much more - agus i bhfad níos mó!
Along the way, we’ll also chat about Irish culture, history, heritage and traditions.
Whether you’re completely new to Irish or just curious, this friendly class is a great place to begin.
